I miss you so much my dear Debra. Godspeed baby, until we meet again. My love always-

My deepest sympathies to Deb's family, friends, and colleagues. I was at Gift of Life when Deb first started, and very much enjoyed our year working together.
I feel that the best any of us can hope for is that when we leave this life those we leave behind remember us fondly, and I know we will all remember Deb fondly.

It is hard to imagine Gift of Life Michigan without you. Many of the behind the scenes things that keep Gift of Life Michigan running smoothly were your design and/or implementation. These will likely continue in your absence, as the mission continues and the memory of you lives on there.

I searched through GI yearbooks yesterday and determined Debbie entered my life in the 78-79 school year...just a bunch of sophomores. This meeting lead me to a lifetime friendship with someone who was loving, kind, funny and a champion of her family and friends. She will be missed.

I first met Deb (and the rest of the Lytle family) when our sons began playing football together in 6th grade. I was instantly drawn to her warmth, wit and infectious laugh. We became fast friends-which says a lot about the kind of person Deb waskind, caring, and incredibly personable. We had much in commonwe both loved a good Bloody Mary (having many together) both had an Italian upbringing and a fierce love of family. I just love the Lytle family, Deb will live on in them! I was so happy to have fellow island people here with me to relive old Grosse Ile days and see how similar it was to Saline Miss you Deb, prayers of strength for all that love you.
