FEEDING HILLS – Debra J. (Megliola) Moriarty, 64, died peacefully Saturday surrounded by loving family. Debbie was born in Springfield, daughter of Esther (Brissette) O’Connor and the late Leonard Megliola.  She was a 1972 graduate of Holyoke High School and has lived in Feeding Hills for the past 37 years.


Debbie loved her coffee, scratch tickets, thrift store shopping and spending time with friends and family. She especially loved spending time with her grandson Chase, who was the light of her life. She had a passion for helping others, she was a strong advocate for addiction support, and always made time for someone in need. 


She leaves her husband of 29 years Raymond F. Moriarty; three sons Brian Holden, Kyle Dietrichsen and his wife Christina and Steven Dietrichsen; her mother Esther (Brissette) O’Connor; brother Leonard Megliola; three sisters Beverly Ringuette, Carole Roney and Linda Bergeron and three grandchildren Chase, Sage and Vera. Debbie was preceded in death by the man who helped to raise her, her loving stepfather, Jack O’Connor. The funeral will be held at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home Saturday at 11:00am.  Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4:00 – 7:00pm.  For online condolences please visit curranjones.com.  Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your
