Deborah was my best friend for 53 years I met her when I moved to mobile and did not know a soul she was in my history class and I said to her I just moved here and I don't know anyone do you want to be my friend and she looked at me and said yes and we were best friends ever since that day I'm going to deeply miss her and I love her my best friend eleanora pescatello

I had the pleasure of teaching with Debbie for several years. She was such a kind, sweet, unassuming person. She made an indelible print on all the students she taught, one of whom was our daughter. One day, I received a note with some of our daughter's schoolwork. Debbie asked me to check the name at the top. It seems our daughter had decided to change her name to "Daisy Mae" and had started writing it on all her papers! I extend my sincere condolences to her beloved family that she dearly...

I will always remember Debbie from grade school and BTH. I was in awe of her teaching for so many years. Rest in Peace, Debbie.
