Not sure what to say?

I am in my thirties now. She was my favorite teacher and I still think of her. She really scared about her students.

RIP, Mrs. Ocker. You were my favorite teacher in high school. Thank you so much for your encouragements and love, and for the wonderful memories!

Even though, we haven’t seen each other in over 35 or 40 years you will be missed. I didn’t know you had died or even had breast cancer until my brother Gene Nance showed me this article in “FINDINGS, A Lesson Before Dying”.
From reading about you has given me much hope. I’m a breast cancer survivor too, January 29, 2008.
With much love and cousins forever,
Penny Nance-Callan, Washington, DC

I had an amazing conversation with Debbie when I learned that her cancer was terminal. I have never met such a
courageous person who truly was at peace awaiting her eternal reward.
She was so grateful at the outpouring of love and affection when she was honored in her community last November.
It is clear that she left a wonderful
and enduring legacy- our loss is heavens gain - Rest in peace Debbie !!
I will never forget being with you on
your final Easter...

Cousin Debbie you always kept your youthfull spirit, energy, and soul. What a beautiful addition to our heaven.

Dearest Debbie, We have so many great memories together from the past 40 years. We shared many teacher stories and laughed. Now you are with Sue our girlfriend, I can see you now with Sue telling you all about heaven. Rest in peace. Miss you girlfriend and much love. Gayle

There are so many people that you meet in your life that you will always remember, Ms. Ocker was one of them. Highschool was so long ago and I still remember the classes I had with her as a teacher. While she couldn't make me love geometry, I still showed up to class to learn as much as I could. She will be missed.
