Joe I´m just reading this now for the first time. I´m so sorry to read this. My prayers are with you and your girls. We started our journey together learning of our admission to med school on the same day and while we took different paths I was happy to hear about your success both family and professional from time to time. I hope you are surviving without your partner. I will be in grand haven all summer and if you read this try to contact me if you can. My email is...

Dr. Sage, I know I am late in signing this, but I wanted you to know how heartbroken I was to hear of Deb's passing. I worked with her at Metro many years She was always kind and supportive. I especially enjoyed her sense of humor. She spoke of you often with love and I can only imagine how you felt watching her go through a debilitating illness and eventually see her demise. You and your family are in my prayers. God Bless You. Liz Byington (RN) (I worked Med Surg and IR at Metro...

Joe and family, Chris and I are saddened to hear of Deb's passing. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. We still fondly remember our families sharing a skiing vacation in northern Michigan many years ago when the kids were young.

Joe, sorry to hear about Deb, she was a great person. Still remembering the good times we had at Strawberry Fields. Sending you and your family prayers.

To Joe and Family: My thoughts are with you all. Deb was a true friend and great colleague. She did so much for the Nursing Profession and especially the diabetes community. I loved collaborating with Deb. She is a very special woman who left her mark on the world.

Dr Sage and family. Sending my sincere Christian sympathy at the passing of your dear wife and mother. Praying for peace and strength on the journey of grief. Mary warner

I had the pleasure of working with Deb at Spectrum Health for about 7 years. She helped transform the diabetes care in the hospital. She was a passionate nurse and diabetes educator who taught me all about diabetes management. Her love and pride for her family was undeniable. She will be missed by so many. Thoughts and prayers to the Sage family.
