Mrs. Sloan just so happens to be like another grandmother to me. I grew up around her and she is my sisters grandmother. I love her family as if it was mine. All my condolences go out to her family and may god be with you all.

Hi Paula I was so sorry about you lose I just happen to be looking at the press online and saw this sad news. I don't know her family but we went to school together Debbie,you and your other sister Letty. I am in North Carolina now and if you ever in the city of Charlotte please look Bruce and i up would glad to see you.

To the Sloan - Wright family, Debbie had such a good heart, she will truly be missed. She was a good friend and a wonderful mother. She was funny and caring. We all had good times back in the day at Marlboro and at Debbie's house:0) .When I had babysitting issues, Debbie was there for me (when she could) She even taught my daughter Bree how to walk. She loved her family so much. My prayers go out to you all. Love Teena (Wilson) Peavy.

help out where ever she was needed...except going on ESCORT off grounds lol.. She was there for me when I decided to had my second child in my senior years Amber Marne'Makins-Jones...born to Sam Jones & Marilyn Makins..
