Debra Snow Spraker of Greenwood, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2012, at her residence. She was born on May 13, 1958, the daughter of Ruth Snow and the late Ernest Theodore Snow. Cherishing her memories are her husband, Joseph Spraker; mother, Ruth Snow; and siblings, Patsy Waldron, Alice Snow, Tommy Snow and Jo Ann, Donna Morris and husband, Frankie, Kathy Morris and husband, Rodney, and Gayle Leake and husband, Jeff; step-daughter, Kathy Viglione and husband, Tony; step-son, Jay Spraker and wife, Renay. Special nephews and nieces known to Debbie as "my children" are Larry Waldron, Shawn Waldron, Jason Snow, Thomas "Beanie" Morris, Crissy Fisher and Angela Leake; great-nephews, Austin Williams, Trenton Fisher, Steven Snow and Josh Snow; grandsons, Daniel Hodge and Wesley Spraker; great-granddaughter, Emersen Hodge; and family friend, Ted Roach; as well as extended family. Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved children and always encouraged them to be prosperous and happy. Her favorite past time was spending time at "the Shack" where she enjoyed the outdoors, wildlife (the bears), nature and the mountains. Debbie loved treating people the way she wanted to be treated. She believed in hard work facing everything in life with pride and dignity; with a strong sense of humor.

There will be a private memorial and burial at Pocosan Mountain Cemetery with Pastor James E. Woods officiating.

Preddy Funeral Home in Madison will be in charge of arrangements.
