Not sure what to say?

I can't believe it's been 12 years since your passing, my friend. I miss you especially this time a year when I'm in my garden here in Scituate, MA pulling out my weeds!! I'll never forget you! - Scotty Dienel

Debra and I were in the Downtown Milwaukee Kiwanis Club together, serving as President and Secretary in 2006 -2007. What fun we had! My husband and I were fortunate to have enjoyed the special luncheon at Usinger's that Debra would often donate as a fund raiser. She served delicious Usinger products and those wonderful potatoes, told tales of her beloved elves, and fun stories of growing up in the Usinger family. She loved her family and the history they made in Milwaukee. She will...

Usingers is always a must when I visit home. May she be in peace with all her elves!

Debra's enthusiasm, energy, and positive outlook on the world will be greatly missed. Her contributions to many causes including making downtown Milwaukee a more beautiful, exciting, and fun place will carry on despite the loss of her leadership.

To all of the Usinger family and company, I was so saddened to read of Deb's passing. I had the honor of talking with her on the phone a few times. One call was for my daughter who requested a copy of the translation for the mural in the retail store. She sent it gladly and spoke of it with such pride and happiness! My daughter and I cherish it, especially because my daughter had just recently learned German. She spoke of her employees as "her elves"...I believe they were! Milwaukee is richer...

I am so saddened by this news. I work at an alarm co and for the last year I looked forward to our weekend talks, She worked tirelessly and would call me each Sat/Sun. Debra became my dear phone friend; discussing, books, art, movies, and family. I loved her wit, her humor and her amazing kind spirit. Joe, I am so sorry for your loss, But Heaven has welcomed an angel, an angel with the greatest laugh. You and her family are in prayers......

Although it has been 40 years since she was my student at University School, I remember Debra and am saddened at her passing. My condolences to the Usinger family and to all of Debra's friends and classmates.

Deb was a well-known and highly respected member of the Class of '76 at Albion College in Michigan. With a style all her own and a unique laugh, she brought a sense of joy to all those who knew her. Committed to making the world a better place - Deb's interest in the Appalachian mountains and its people was one of her loves while we were in college. I can remember hearing stories of her road trips to Appalachia during spring breaks and her volunteer efforts. It was always great to see "Uze"...

Debra was a great pal in college. She made my college days fun, wacky and unexpected. She was a passionate woman, full of energy, love and loyalty to the Usinger family and its traditions.

I hope that memories of the treasured times you spent with her, and the support of friends and family, will bring you peace.

My deepest condolences,
Annabelle
