My Thoughts And Prayers Are And Will Always Be With Mario Andretti's Wife Dee! Billy Kamphausen Bloomfield Hills, Michigan

I remember sitting next to D Andretti in Miami at the Miami Indy challenge race. She and her family hosted the dinner for the National Society to Prevent Blindness. He was sweet and very humble. When I asked her how she felt about racing, she replied "It´s been good to our family."

I have the pleasure of sitting next to Mrs. Andretti many years ago in Miami at the Miami Indy challenge. I was helping the national Society to prevent blindness, and the Andretti´s were our featured guests at our dinner. Mrs. Andy and I had a nice conversation. And when I ask her what it was like to be in the racing business, she said "It´s been very good to us." She was humble and very down to earth.

Remembering Mrs. Dee Ann Andretti as a neighbor of my friend Sue Worbley in Nazareth. She was always so very kind and nice when we girls knocked on her door to see how her husband did in a particular race. I did not realize that she passed on a few years back. I just wanted to remember her on here is all, as a nice lady, one who I have always respected and adnired....Sympathies to all the family.....With many vivid memories of her, Louann Brown (now Anduzzi), Islamorada, Fl., formerly of...

Hard to believe it is 3 years since she has been gone. Can not forget her death since it is around my birthday. Will always remember the good times growing up together especially high school and her wedding, since I was married the week before hers. May you Rest In Peace and will never be forgotten.

Thinking of Dee, Mario and the entire Andretti Family on the one year Anniversary of Dee's passing! My Thoughts and Prayers are with You All!

Billy

Mario, and family, I just heard this devastating news, I am sorry I am a bit late. What a lovely lady, and the woman who won my favorite driver's heart. I know how terrible this loss is, as last year we lost my hero, my dad, our family hero, like Mario, my sports hero! It is a vacancy in the heart that feels awful, and I am so sorry for you all. This fan and my family send our deepest condolences to your family. Treasure these memories, and share when it's tough, as those moments are so...
