Not sure what to say?

Dear family of Dee-Jade, I'm a nurse practitioner that cared for Dee-Jade for nearly two years when she was first diagnosed. I never forgot her bravery, resilience, and kindness and the incredible love that she was surrounded by from her family and friends. Her example has served as inspiration throughout my career. My best to the family and on-going condolences to your grief even 15 years after your loss. - Steve

My dearest sister, Dee-Jade .... How is it that you are celebrating 15 years in heaven? and have had Mom join you the last 3 to "put another candle on the birthday cake?" My heart has ached each day bearing the grief & loss left behind by the beauty, love & grace that endured & ascended beyond the pain & suffering. I have missed your warmth, smiles & laughter and shared moments in the pursuit of your happiness & dreams. I have longed for the fullness of brighter days and been broken by the...

I wrote this back on November 26, 2009 in another Guest Book for Dee-Jade...just wanted to share again...keep shining down on us, Dee-Jade!

Hi, Joma. I'm not sure if you remember me, but I went to USF with you and Dee-Jade. I believe I graduated a year after you two.

I am so deeply saddened to hear of my dear friend, Dee's passing...and even more saddened to just hear about it this week. I saw her name in the memoriam section of the USF magazine and my heart sank. I lost touch...

Dee you are my inspiration for life and knowing what is really important. I am going to complete my schooling, and I am almost done now because of your strength I pull from you.

On June 12th, we celebrated Dee's 32nd Birthday on the Big Island. Hau'oli la Hanau Me ke Aloha pumehana, Dee. We had a great time didn't we. ;-) I Love You & Miss You more with each day that passes.

Ive known Dee-Jade since we both attended Arevalos. She was a great person with an awesome personality & the one thing I will never forget is that beautiful smile of hers. I just recently found out about her passing, she will surely be missed. My heart & prayers go out to the Chock family, God bless you all.

Today I celebrate the life of someone I once knew. Dee is a warm charismatic person who has a great heart. Although we were not great friend in high school she did leave a lasting impression on me and I will remember her warm smile.

It was really nice going to visit Dee Jade on her Birthday yesterday. We miss her and often think of our dear friend. Little Omar and Athena ran all around asking if they can blow the bubbles someone left for her.
Love, Omar, Jenna, Omar and Athena.

Hello to the Chock Family. Our hearts are breaking for each and everyone of you. Richard and I have only just learned of this great loss in Dee. A beautiful girl both inside and out....
