Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to read of Dee's death. She was consistently kind with her words, which made a lasting good impression on me. I have never forgotten how calm and encouraging she was when she came to my bedside just before I had major-scary neck surgery. She had a gift for handling such situations. Jim, you have my deepest sympathy. May you feel God's loving arms around you each minute of each day going forward. Alleen Cater

I adored Dee. We became good friends from Lakeshore. We always had great conversations and I thought she was hilarious. She was passionate, outspoken, and intelligent. She was a wonderful friend and scholar. I will miss her so much. There will never be another Dee. Love to Jim.

I will always remember Dee. We swam together at Lakeshore and had some interesting and deep conversations about so many things. I will miss her. Praying for Jim and her family during this time.

I won´t say Dee was noisy but we all knew when she arrived at the tennis courts...I called her "Queen King" and her charm was elevating to all around. Memories and condolences Jim.

Thank you, Mr. King for you many kindnesses. Condolances to you at this very difficult time.

Dana and I will always remember her happy smile and her warm friendship. she was a wonderful companion at dinner with the Duffers! We are so sad for Jim's loss, as well as that of all who knew her! Pet and Dana

Dee was such a great person. I first knew Dee and Bertie at Crestline School. She made a great impression on me then and that good impression continued. She was so much fun to be with. There was no one like her and she will be missed by all who knew her. Jim, my heart goes out to you and your family. Carla Simmons

So very sorry to hear about Dee! We moved into the house next door to the Foster's when I was 5 and Dee was heading to college! I idolized Dee and Birdie! I remember visiting Dee at Fox Hall when she had Jimbo and going to Birdie's wedding! A few years ago, we reconnected through bridge and Dee gave me a photo from that visit so long ago! I also adored her parents. We called her Dad Uncle Hubert and he always had a joke to play and candied orange slices for a treat. She was such a...
