Read MoreI was lucky to have Dee for a friend at Michigan and again recently. She was funny and witty even when she was ill. She was healer even in college. Her dorm room was a haven for quirky advice and stories. Of all her many accomplishments she was proudest of being a Mom. My sincere condolences to Peter, Jennifer and Cassidy, Sue & Lois.

I can say that of the many people I have crossed paths with, Dee was one of those people you can never forget. Her humor and fast wit was always a great reason to visit. She was so very proud of her daughters. I was blessed to know her and her amazing family. Her strength was inspiring and I will carry that with me always. She will be missed by many.
