Not sure what to say?

Del was my favorite announcer when he was on KBIZ in Ottumwa. I remember him in his 39-40 Ford. He always seemed to be happy and in a good mood. Ottumwa's loss was future stations win. John Owens

Del was a fine gentleman and an example for us all on how to live a HUMAN life. You will be remembered and missed!

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

You had been. Great in your humble way. Another Cleveland Icon. Who leaves the stage a lot dimmer when you're gone.
Marty of Cleveland Heights Ohio.

We are sending big hugs of sympathy to the family, who will surely miss this delightful man. He was special in every situation, most especially the broadcast industry.

Marcy, we lived next door to you and Allen when I was growing up in Rocky River and your dad and mom were always so friendly and kind. I've never forgotten them or you. My sympathies for your loss.

Marcy: I met you and your parents while working at AAA in Rocky River. We exchanged stories while booking some travel for them to attend family reunions. What a charming couple. I have thought of your family often. My condolences to all of you.

Losing a loved one is so very difficult, especially when they have been loved by so many. It is my most sincere hope that God will provide you comfort and peace as you visit with family and friends with whom you will undoubetdly share fond memories of Del with over the coming days/weeks.

May the Lord Bless you and keep you, may He make his face to shine upon you and grant you His peace.
We can do all things thru Christ who strengthens us.

If you need anything, or if I can...

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome...
