Not sure what to say?

Molly and I want to add our remembrance of Del and sorrow in his loss. Yet our hope is sure - "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." Del encouraged so many of us, the younger couples and families at Moses Lake Alliance Church. Such memorable moments in sermons as, "if you drive over the speed limit, you have authority issues." All the wood cutting pieces, metaphors of life and faith. Dressing up as a Bible character and preach as the character. Integral to shaping us...

You were a good Pastor. Even though I was a young girl and was coloring in the pews mostly, I remembered you and, I've had a traumatic brain injury since I've known you. To remember you means you had an influence in my life. Thank-you. My heart is for your family to feel comfort from God; He has His faithful servant now; I hope they feel that and know you Pastor Del are well.

Our condolences to the family! We loved him and he was our dear friend and confidant and presided over Gordon´s mother.

A wonderful human being. Much loved and appreciated. Gerald & Kathleen Lux

He was a wonderful teacher of God's Word. I learned so much from him.

Dear Jane, We remember both you and Pastor Dell when we served as missionaries on home assignment at Sherwood Park Alliance Church, 1992-1993. We also have good memories of you speaking at our Field Forum in Colombia, S. A. May God comfort you in your loss.

It is with great sadness that we hear of Pastor Dels passing. He played a huge part in the lives of our family providing biblical instruction and support while raising our three boys. The father, Son backpacking trips were amazing and left a lasting impact on their lives. His teaching of the word was second to none and we will always be grateful for his ministry and friendship.

We knew Del McKenzie as our godly pastor, a devoted husband, and loving father. We will miss him not just because he was our pastor but because he was our friend.

Sorry to hear of your families loss. I attended Sherwood Park Alliance, and Pastor Del was one of my favorites as a kid and teenager. I remember as a kid, also going to their house to buy Christmas trees, which I thought was so funny, my pastor sells trees?! He was kind and always smiling, that's what I remember the most.
