Not sure what to say?

Jeanne and family. I am so sad to hear of Delbert's passing. He was a joy to know, and will never be forgotten. His beautiful paintings and watercolors are in almost every room in my house. I feel so fortunate to have them and the beautiful memories that surround them.

So sad to hear of the loss of such a good man. My condolences to all the family, and especially to you Aunt Jeanne. Some of my favorite memories from my youth are those of our trips to Florida, and fishing with Uncle Del.

What a fine gentleman andartist. Back in about 2001 the Art Museum offered Saturday classes in the different medias.I enjoyed each class but the Saturday watercolor was presented, Del Peterson was the instructor and that day I fell in love with watercolor. I didn't retire for another 7 years but never forgotthe feeling of seeing the watercolors on the paper and his soft quiet mannerofteaching. I am lucky enough to have one of his paintings hanging in my living room.

I'm so sorry for the loss of a husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He will be greatly missed. I have the family in my thoughts and prayers.

He epitomized the "gentle" in gentleman. One of the first people I met when I moved to Vero, and he truly made me feel welcome into the art community.

Dad, we all were so blessed to have you for 93 years!

The World has lost a wonderful man. Delbert was a kind, gentle, loving, humble and caring man. He was to me, a very special Father. He treasured his precious children more than you will ever know. And, with every visit, he always thanked us for being a part of his life. Del, Dad, we thank you for being the wonderful man you were, and for sharing your unconditional love with us all. We will miss you beyond words. We will grieve, and it will soften with time, but grief only happens because...

What a great man! Delbert was a treasured resource for me while I was writing my biography of Ruth Ford, and lucky for me, both he and Jeanne continued on as our friends in the following years. He had amazing talent, a truly kind and loving heart, and led a productive life that will always be an inspiration to others. Blessings and thanks go to his huge family. We wish you all peace and comfort.

Del will be missed. Have wonderful memories of him and Jeanne. What an outstanding artist and a good man. Enjoyed sharing art with him as members of the Aurora Art League. Thoughts and prayers for him and his family. God bless.
