Della Waghiyi

Della was a great example of commitment to Christ. I met her during the Russia Initiative, when The Russia Far East Task Force of the Alaska Missionary Conference helped get food and supplies to folk across the Bering Sea. She gave several beautiful witnesses at various Russia Initiative Consultations 1994 - 2003. Her shadow will long cast its spell across the whole continent.

Auntie Della was a very family oriented person, she showed her love to all of her extended family and all the people she met. We, the extended family hope to continue the love she gave us. We will miss her but we will see her again. Love to all the family, you are in our prayers.

I met Della when she attended the Walk to Emmaus. What a delightful lady. I feel honored to have known her.
