Delores May Metz

Delores May Metz, 85, of Spencer, died Friday, November 7, 2025, at Roane General Hospital, Spencer.

She was born December 4, 1939, at Minnora, the daughter of the late Walter and Rose Finchman Bailey.

Delores retired from GoMart, Spencer. She was a former employee of Kellwood Company, A&P and Norris.

She was a Christian.

Survivors include sons, Roger Metz of Orma and Gregory Metz of South Carolina; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Eula Roush of Ohio.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 13, 2025, at John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Charles B. White, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Eventide Cemetery, Spencer.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
