Marilyn and Elaine, I am so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. She was truly a remarkable person and I loved spending time with her. She will always be in my heart and I send my sincerest condolences. She truly had a rapid wit and never let you get away with anything. She made a remarkable impression on me. Delores was an amazing woman. She took care of our first child Sydney 38 years ago. As an OB nurse I supposedly knew everything but in actuality that was not the case for a nervous new mom. Delores met me where I was and guided me through those first months with wisdom and humor. I will always be grateful for those after work chats on the porch swing. I am honored to have known her and to have been one of her caregivers in the last few months of her life.
