I lived at the Apts. where Julie lived, but moved to Maryland 4 years ago. I was saddened when I heard of her passing. She had a great sense of humor. I loved some of the dishes she fixed. We shared our jobs, that we both worked at in our past years. She loved her kids, and always shared about them. Prayers to all the family.

I have had the blessed privilege of becoming friends with one of her 'adopted' Rose buds.
In a very difficult time in her life this beautiful Rose of a woman took her in and brought health and nurturing into my dear friends life. (She later became a Doctor, & one of the Rose Buds best friends) I know that without Miss Julie's wonderful heart of love and caring, Celi would not be where she is today. I wish I could have met the one and only Julie Rose. My thoughts and prayers of comfort...

Julie was an amazing mom and a woman of extraordinary strength and character, and I would not have my family without her. I was privileged to share in the final 15 years of her life that she spent here in Olympia. We already miss her.
