I have know Delos since we were in the 4th grade at Valmeyer Community school in Valmeyer, Illinois. We both achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in Valmeyer Boy Scout Troop 345. Many adventures and stories there. In addition we started a band called the "Checkmates" where Delos played a beautiful Fender Precision bass. We graduated from Valmeyer High School in 1965.
