Delos Tanner

We remember Delos all the way back to 1969 when Jerry and I were pastoring here in the district off Leonard Street! We love all the extended family now and our prayers are with you! He has gained his reward in the presence of our Lord!

PASTOR Delos was such a kind hearted caring man. My first interaction with him was many years ago as an RN when he would bring his wife MARY into the ER. He was so loving and kind toward her and others. Then I continued to see him through KCC and his ministry with Jackie. He inspired others by his ongoing service at an advanced age and his caring ways. He was truly a very special person.

I don't really know your family. But you all have given me encouragement and I love to read you posts. My daughter Jennifer taught w Jan at Cross creek. Your family reminds me of mine when I was younger. I will be praying for you all. My parents are both gone to heaven singing God's praises. We will all meet there again. Jessica DeRuiter (DeVos).

Dear Jackie, Love and sympathy to you and the family for your loss. I loved his kindness and smile. What a wonderful and faithful man he was, I remember you and him came to see my mother in the nursing home and he prayed for her and us. Love you Jackie.

Delos was there visiting my daughter, Laurie, when she was gravely ill. He remembered my uncle Russell Asetine when he had church in the Kalamazoo area. He will be missed by the Freedom Fighters men's group at KCC. My prayers are for the family as they miss him. With Love, Paul and Ann Aseltine

I will always remember his smile. He made sure if he seen me he would would say Hello. Bless his heart to live to be 101. Blessing to all his family. Comfort for Jackie and family.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Delos. While I didn't know him very well, I enjoyed seeing him @ the Wed. afternoon church services, & my prayers & thoughts are with you, dearest Jackie and his beloved family as you grieve and yet celebrate his life

Always looked to see Delos at church camp. Seen him briefly this yr. Prayers for his beautiful family. Always a peace knowing he's in Jesus arms.
