DELOSS BROWN

I can´t process this sorrowful news. After a successful working relationship (actress to director) at the Riverside Shakespeare Company in the 1980s, Brownie was the first director I hired (who else?!) when I started my own classical theatre company in 1989. Our professional relationship endured throughout the decades, from theatre to shared political opinions, frequent emails peppered with French and German (was there anything Brownie didn´t know?) his witty bon mots, his annual Easter...

Deloss was my mentor at NYU. He was always helping people and he continued to be a positive influence in my life long after I graduated. He was an inspiration to many, a sweet and kind soul, and he wil be missed by many!
