LOVE ALWAYS BIG BROTHER

Keep resting in peace my Chadsey brother. Your legacy will live on!

We know you are still watching over your family & you will always be loved. You are missed my BROTHER.

Meech will always be the on from the hood that made it...RESPECT

As a former Pittsburgher who also adopted NYC as my home, I regret never getting to meet Mr. Gore on his city walkabouts. But I got so much joy out of watching him play the game he loved. I've appreciated a lot of athletes over the years but for some reason, only a few really stick with you. He was my favorite on a star-studded team and I just admired the grace and ease with which he played the game. Demetreus Gore was the most humble, kind & generous person I’ve ever met & the best brother in-law in the world. He was loved & appreciated by the entire family. We love you today, tomorrow & forever. You’ve earned your wings! REST IN PEACE MY BROTHER

My deepest condolences to Demetrius’s family and Pitt family. He left a legacy for his family and friends to carry on. I pray you find comfort in knowing he made a difference. ~SaLisa, Pitt Alumna

Meech has a smile that lights up a room. He loved to play the dozens and alwaya kept it real. As a freshman, I watched him hold his head high and keep fighting despite a debilitating ankle injury during his senior year that kept him from performing his best. My man Meech was real! He moved in silence and always commanded the room. He kept us freshman informed and entertained. Simply a great dude. He is missed. The world was better with him in it.

Demetreus, May God bless you and keep you in His loving arms. You were a kind, gentle and fun soul at Chadsey. I will never forget your kindness and I was especially so very honored to have you as my prom date for Chadsey 84. Rest well my friend.
