Demetrios J. Kanellos, 28, of Brockton, MA, died unexpectedly June 26, 2023.
Born in Keene, NH, he was the son of John and Sheri (Moro) Kanellos. He resided in Dunbarton for many years, before moving to Brockton, MA.
He graduated from Goffstown High School, Class of 2013. It was there that he turned his childhood love for football into leading his teams to several state championships and earning an MVP award.
He was employed as a certified residential door systems technician with the Overhead Door Company, Stoughton, MA.
Demetrios loved life and his family dearly. He was a loving and devoted son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. His daughter, Arianna, brought him great pride. Those who knew him will never forget his outgoing personality and contagious laugh. He was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, as he left an indelible mark on every single life that he touched. His legacy will continue through those he left behind. May His Memory Be Eternal.
In addition to his parents of SC, immediate family members include his daughter, Arianna Kanellos, MA; a sister, Angelina Kanellos; paternal grandmother, Angeliki (Kiakas) Kanellos; maternal grandparents, James and Diane Moro, all of SC; an aunt, Catherine Carr and her husband, Brian; a cousin, Alexis Krafka, of NH. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Demetrios Kanellos.
Services: Calling hours are Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 4 to 7 PM at Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, Manchester, NH. The Trisagion Service will be held at 6:30 PM.
The funeral service is Friday, July 7, 2023, at 10 AM in St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 650 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH.
Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester, NH.
