Demetrius, I look back at the Memories and tears comes to my eyes because, I'll miss all the times you would call me up and talk about the Weathers, read me Your Poems, tell me about the most recent Books you've read and just talking about everyday events that goes on in your lives in general... As I'm writing this... I recall how you would make me laugh when you would say your famous four words " And Other Than That" after each sentence(smiling)you would have me rolling inside... ...

Demetrius, I know you’re in heaven looking down on us. Dear family, I pray that God grants you the strength to want to get up and see another day. I know how it feels to lose a loved one very dear to me & I have to thank God for blessing me to want to get up and continue on, although it was very hard to do. I didn't know Demetrius as well as some of you did, but what I do know about him is that he treated me with kindness & respect as a gentleman should & I appreciate that. Thanks...

We will always love you and will see you in heaven.. denise and tia

God bless you and your family, working with your son was a blessing. He always knew how to put a smile on our face on 7E. He will truly be missed. Very helpful and caring, loving person. Not only in his words but just in his actons. Just remeber he was one of a kind.

Dear Robin and family: Just to let you know that we are lifting you up to Jesus in prayer. May you find comfort and strength in God's presence. Demetrius was my "quiet" friend. I (Barbara) ran into him on several occasions lately. He recognized me but no long conversation. God blest us with his strong spirit for a while. We thank God for his life and legacy. Love, Sister Barbara and Brother Dave Leavell
