Dena Prins

Another year but I retain the fond memories of Dena at CLC and when we visited them in California around 1987.

Dear Prins family,
I am writing on behalf of my aunt Helen Kits (Zee) of Lacombe, Alberta, to send condolences from the remaining Zee family members, after having read in the June Banner of Dena's death. I believe my aunt remembers Jake and Dena visiting her parents (my grandparents) Fokke and Ebeltje Zee (Prins) in Red Deer many years ago - at least there was contact between the families.

Dear Jake and family,

As with all of us, I am saddened and rejoice over Dena's on going to Heaven. We throughly enjoyed our visits with you at the CLC Fort Washington at different times and then when we looked you up in CA in 1987 during our furlough travels. Wonderful memories of two wonderful people. May the Lord's comfort and blessing be upon you in a greater measure in these days.

Aunt Dena always kept in touch with all of us for birthdays, anniversaries, and special occasions. She enjoyed sharing photos of their grandchildren and their new great-grandchild. She truly kept the family together with her e-mails and holiday greetings. She will be sorely missed by the Stout family.

Dear Prins Family, So sorry to hear of Dena's passing. She was a dear friend who always tried to stay in touch with me as a fellow missionary. We will certainly miss her. Jake - wishing you all the best of God's blessings are you go on in life. I will come and see you this Spring.

Dear Jake and family
Our sincere sympathy to you and your family. So many memories of our time together at Christian Literature Crusade, my (Judy's) first duty was to help Dena cook meals for everyone. She took me in and mentored me in her gracious and loving way. Dena was a mentor to a lot of people, always with a positive attitude and always showing her love for the Lord.
