Chambers Funeral Homes - North Olmsted Obituary

DENEEN CHRISTINE GENARO (nee Ciarrochi) passed away at St. John’s Westshore hospital in Westlake, Ohio at the age of 56 on June 20th. She spent her remaining years living in North Olmsted, Ohio with her significant other Rick Mendicino. Daughter of David Sr. and Jean (deceased) Ciarrochi, Deneen was born in Warren, Ohio and grew up with her younger brother David Ciarrochi Jr. She was a graduate of Warren G. Harding highschool in 1982 where she decided to pursue a career in cosmetology. Throughout her 35 plus years in the beautician industry, Deneen worked along side numerous hair dressers, nail technicians, and make-up artists; eventually opening her own salon ‘New Attitudes.’ Deneen married her late husband Daniel P. Genaro (deceased) while working independently. Shortly after, she became the loving mother of two sons; Nicholas and Daniel A. Genaro. Her boys were the pride of her life. Whether it was meeting new people or reconnecting with old friends, she never failed to tell anyone how beautiful, intelligent, and proud she was of her boys. Her clientele, friends, and family will always remember Deneen for her exuberant and colorful personality. The light that burned bright inside Deneen was one that warmed many. Though her light has burned out and she is now at peace, that light will be carried on by everyone she touched throughout her life; always shining bright when we feel dim, and always keeping us warm when we feel cold inside. Deneen will be sorely missed by her family, friends, coworkers, and clients until all our lights dim and inevitably go out. Memorial Service Saturday, June 27,  North Mar Church (3855 E Market St Warren, Ohio)  at 11:00 a.m.
