My condolences to Deniece's family and friends. I was the Library Director at OIT in 1998 when we hired Deniece. Once she interviewed, there was no doubt, we had to hire her and never looked back. Deniece was the ideal colleague, eager and quick to learn, she could do anything asked of her and more. Her sense of humor and ability to empathize made her easy to work with. I am so very saddened to hear of this! Deniece was a few grades ahead of me at Bonanza, and although I didn´t know her well, and I haven´t seen her for decades, I can still here her Giggle. It was the Best. And she was so Special. She radiated Joy. So beautiful. She and I traveled by Greyhound while in high school to visit a mutual friend, Colleen, who was attending OSU. So sorry to hear of this. I knew she was sick, but always held out hope. I enjoyed working with her at the OIT library.

Deniece had a smile that made the world a better place. She was a couple of years younger than me at bonanza but she always brought joy. So sorry to all for their loss.
