I worked with Dr. Cavanagh during the early days of the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. He was a superb surgeon and clinician, an accomplished academician and a man of solid convictions. We were co-authored in a manuscript and on the first proposal for a multisciplinary Ovarian Cancer Pathobiology Program. For my father,love and admiration always. Dad used to have a sign in his home office that read "You only live once,but if you work it right once is enough!" I will always remember that and I can only hope i can live my life half as well as he did.
Also on behalf of all the unborn children he saved because of his prolife beliefs a hug and kiss.
