Unfortunately I let my ritual, minimum once a year, contact with Denis slide when I moved to Richmond, VA in 2011, which I regret deeply. Denis was "independent" in the business world because he was that good in what he did...widely respected up and down the line and in HR for his perspectives and judgment. Dear Delaney Family, I was truly saddened to learn of Denis' passing. Hopefully, my mind will never forget the times spent laughing in JCU's dorms and assorted Cleveland hot spots. I was surprised and saddened to recently learn that Denis had passed away sometime before the 2014 Thanksgiving Holidays. He was a true professional and good friend. Goodbye buddy.

I am sorry for your loss. Our family grew up with the Delaney family in St. Clement's parish, Lakewood, OH. Denny was always at our home during grade school and high school as he and my brother Tom along with Dick and Gary started a life long friendship since first grade.
Denny has remained a true friend to my brother Tom and his wife Maureen. I will always remember him for his kind and thoughtful heart.
