Not sure what to say?

As Jan. 18th approaches, marking the year anniversary of my brother Denis' passing, I find my heart just hurts and tears fill my eyes that he is gone. To me he was an adored, admired, and dearly loved brother, and close friend. To his wife Bobbi and their children and their families, he was everything to them all as they were to him. Of course through the holidays we remember and cherish the lives of those loved so dearly and lost. So here I sit with the tremendous loss of Den this...

I´m just learning of Denis´ passing and my heart is broken for all involved. We spent a lot of time together in the 90´s coaching girls basketball at St Cecilia and then watching sports at Jesuit. Regardless of time or distance since then, I consider Denis, Bobbi, and family good friends. This stings and my prayers go out to all of you. Simply, Denis was a great guy and I am very proud to have known him. Sincere condolences from me, Erin, and our family .

I just heard about unexpected Denis's passing. I did not know Denis real well, but we worked on some real estate transactions and stayed in touch between deals. He was always so upbeat and fun to talk with. It was also clear he was very close and proud of his family. I will miss touching base with Denis about the market and our families.

Dear Bobbi and family, I fondly reflect on my Iconic cousin, Denis. The family pride by his academic and athletic excellence at Bellarmine, the numerous university offers he received from across the country, and his career at Stanford, were the gem of the family in the 1960´s. Uncle Tom and Dad were loving brothers with different interests. It was rare for Dad to take an interest in TV sports, with two exceptions that I recall. The first was whenever Joe Cronin threw the opening pitch in the...

Denis was always kind to me, and funny, and HONEST! I loved seeing how "in love" he and Bobbi remained through the years. Those 2=Couple goals! My heart goes out to you all and I am so saddened we have lost him. Wish I could be at the service. Sending my deepest love to you all.

My condolences to the O´Neill family on the loss of Denis. I went to school with Laurie and grew up around the entire O´Neill clan on Kohner Court. Many wonderful memories!

I will miss Denis. The O'Neill's entered into my life in 7th grade and have always been a part of it. I will miss seeing Denis at the numerous basketball, volleyball and soccer games that we attended together as he proudly watched his grandchildren compete. We would spend much of the time talking about how things were going in my life, because that was the kind of selfless man he was and he always wanted the inside scoop on Jesuit Football. I am honored to have known Denis. Rest In Peace.

A privilege to have known Denis, if ever so briefly.

I'll miss Denis. I remember him being there after all our football games along with innumerable weddings and other family gatherings. Our paths also crossed paths professionally a few times and he was always fun and helpful to talk to. He was a great example of how to live life well.
