Not sure what to say?

To Sandi and family, my heartfelt sympathy. Denis was a gem and I’m so saddened to hear of his passing. We spent many fun times on the tennis court. Always such a gentleman. So much so that I once had to tell him to smash the ball at our opposition! We won. A lovely gentle Irishman. He will be missed by many. May he Rest In Peace .
Love Jay Silvera.

I will always remember those wonderful Sunday afternoons at the Mallet Grille listening to the stories of days past. I learned so much about this amazing area we live in. I will miss the twinkle in his eyes as he shared his passion for our history. May you Rest In Peace dear Denis. You left an amazing legacy in our hearts and home.

Sandi and family, please accept our deepest sympathIes from the Wellington Historical Society. Denis was a very special man and was an integral part of Wellington’s history. He will be dearly missed. May God bless your family and bring you comfort in your sadness.

Sandi, so sorry to hear about Denis. A great man is gone. Jim Sadock sent me the news. Remember meeting Denis for the first time in 1973 when I remember that figure he was at Columbus Landing and then Stribling brought the two of you to the states (or colonies as you would say) and I met you. You two were always so good to me; our weekly tennis times, parties. So sad that he, Guerry and many of the old gang are gone. My best to you My Dear, hopefully you see this, and that my email address...

My deepest condolences to Sandi and the rest of the family. I had the privilege of working for Denis and he was always professional, courteous, and respectful. He had a natural charm and vibrant personality, and the world is a darker place without him.

I am so sorry to hear the news of Denis' passing. When I first met Denis and Sandi some years ago my first thought was that he was a very good-looking man. Then I came to know his wonderful nature and personality. I consider Denis to be one of the more influential people I have met, especially as I learned more about his adventures and his influence on Wellington. I will miss seeing Denis at polo or at the Grand Prix. I am so sorry, Sandi. I also send my condolences to...

I met Dennis working for the Wellington developer and continued the professional relationship through the Village of Wellington PZB. Dennis was always the ultimate professional and gentleman. I will miss him. Patrick May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
