I met Denise when she asked me to sponsor her in a Direct Sales company. Later she worked for my husband as a secretary. This was the beginning of a lasting friendship. Denise was a special woman who EVERYONE liked to be around. She was such an addition to my life. The highlight of our friendship was when she asked me to help her be baptized. She is now home with her Father!

Denise was one of the first people I met when I arrived as a City of Lansing Fire Commissioner. She was a wonderful, full of life person, easy to befriend, and always so happy. I became online friends with Denise after repairing her sister's computer years ago. My wife and I will sorely miss her wonderful sense of humor in the jokes she sent almost daily. Our condolances to the family and friends of this wonderful person.

I met Denise last year at painting class. She was a warm and wonderful person. She was so friendly and kind. She took me under her wing as the new person in class and helped me get started. She made me feel so comfortable. We will miss her so much. My heart goes out to her family.
