Not sure what to say?

Dear Mommy,
I am 16 now going on seventeen in just a month! I have missed you more and more each day and regret every second that I didn't mention how much I love you. You were not only an incredible mother but an amazing best friend, who NOBODY will replace. You were my biggest role model and I looked up to you in every single aspect of life. I remember you making me sit on the couch and study even when I was only in the first grade, and while I hated it then, looking back now it...

I met Denise about 18 months ago at her home for the first meeting of the Hero's Writers Group with Fritz and Diane. She was so hospitable and served us gourmet coffee and chocolate chip cookies.

As I got to know her, I realized what an excellent writer she was and how much she cared about the craft. She let us critique her book on extinct animals. It was a great idea and very well-written.

Diane, Fritz and I met with her four days before she had the hemmorrage and she...

We played follow the leader, and of course you were the leader. You led everyone over that bees nest that laid on the ground. You told everyone, except me, to jump over. I did the unthinkable and stepped right in it...running amok towards mom screaming and getting stung with bees stuck in my hair!

That I thought was ONE of the worst days of my life.

But the saddest day of my life was when I lost you. Each day that goes by for me, seems like the first. It's still...

I have never met a person with such energy and love of live. Her laughter was infectious and she will be missed by all who came into contact with her. She is now in a place were she can be one with the nature she loved so much.

A great person

In remeberance of a great person. I remember meeting her at the Gracias house while MTV was on. She was one of the Original Punks in Va Beach with sort hair, black dress, thin, and cool freinds. Then I remember her being a happy young wife and mother of two. James used to bring her to may house sometimes when they hung out while I lived near ODU. And then came Emma which made her even more happy. Her main concern was always her family and her bright children. Their happiness and...

Denise you will be missed!!!!!!! to your whole family this is truely a sad thing to have happened family. we love you and will miss you dearly.

To Denise's family and loved ones. Denise was a dear friend of our daughter, Christine. She was much like Christine, outspoken and to the point. When they were together there was not a dull moment. We will always remember her and we are so sorry for your loss.

Not many people can match the beautiful, strong, and brilliant mind of my big sister but you came close Denise. I love you for many reasons but as a young girl......the white, snakeskin patterned jeans you gave me (size 0) were awesome. I was the coolest gal around for a very, very brief time. Unlike you, I was only that small for a few short months of my life. The world will miss your loud powerful voice and opinions tiny tinkerbell. I hate knowing that you are no longer with us and...

I will never forget trick-or-treating as kids, walking to Smith Lake to explore nature and walking up & down the oceanfront to find treasures. You are a treasure Denise and will never be forgotten. My heart goes out to your family.
