Not sure what to say?

We had so much fun annually with Deni & Bob on New Years Eve for many years at the lake. So Sorry to hear we lost another Rose that became an Angel looking over us. Always in Memories Don & Carol Quick

Deni worked at Kettle Lake when I was there doing my student teaching. Then, when I became a 6th grade teacher, I had the privilege of having one of her sons in my class. You were an amazing teacher with a legacy that will live on in the hearts and minds of all the students you had in class and within your two beautiful boys.

It was such a blessing to work along side Deni. Her sense of humor and joy in working with the young ones was contagious. She was always considerate and grateful. I loved popping into her room after school to see the birds, perched on her shoulder or on top of her head! She will be missed. My prayers go out to her family.

I never had Mrs. Fox as an assigned teacher, only a substitute. I remember as a kid being through the roof when Mrs. Fox was our substitute. We even nicknamed her Super-Sub. She was always very interactive with us, most of the time joining our small groups and doing activities with us. She was always full of joy and loved us all like crazy, even the ones classified as troublemakers lol. I know many of us from Caledonia have fond memories that we will keep for years to come.

Dearest Deni, It was a gift to teach with you at Kettle Lake. You had boundless energy and joy for your students and fellow colleagues. Your personality and educational abilities were a positive force and example to all. Lovingly, Barbara

So sad that Deni is gone, you always had to check to see if the birds were out in her class room before you went in. Thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I am SO glad my oldest was able to have her for 1st grade during her last year of teaching.... I remember her telling me how she had raised Boys of her own and can handle a rowdy one. I trusted her to care for my son not only as a teacher but as a human being. We talked at parent-teacher conferences (on her comfy couch) about how we collectively wished science programs were more hands-on, and how she can handle the "know it all" confidence of a 6yr old boy. I think this was literally the...

Deni was a wonderful teacher and a friend to everyone she knew. She started subbing years ago at Kettle Lake and I always requested her because she was a great sub. It wasn't long until she was teaching first grade and her students absolutely loved her. She was always kind and upbeat. I am so sad to hear she's gone.

To Deni's family. We are so sorry for your loss. Bob and Sandi Ortiz - Deni's neighbors.
