Denise Leary

I´m in shock & only found out yesterday. My deepest condolences to her family. I attended nursing school with this wonderful woman. Although I moved away from Boston many years ago, we´d get together when I visited Boston every few years for lunch or coffee. She was always full of joy & laughter, but serious, involved with, & well known in her community. Local politics, yes! National politics, yes! Union & employee rights, yes! She is missed.

When I first moved to Southie having never even really been here before, Denise so very kindly offered to give me a "tour" of the area. We had some fun and I will never forget her generosity and pleasant demeanor. Rest in peace, Denise. You are missed...

It was such a pleasure to know and work with Denise at Boston City / Boston Medical Center Department of Pediatrics! She was so caring and hard working always willing to lend a hand. She will be missed by all. My heart goes out to her family , whom she loved very much! Rest now Denise in peace Betty Pierson
