The first memory I have of my mother's caring spirit was when we were driving down the road and she stopped and pulled over to help an elderly lady across the street with her groceries. I was in kindergarden. This would be the first of many instances that I would witness my mom opening her heart to a stranger. As well as her door to anyone in need of a refuge. Always lend her ear to listen and shoulder to cry on. I love you mom.

Dearest Denise,
So sad that you've been called to Heaven - though I wasn't as close to you as others, you are still my family, and I love you forever. Rest Peacefully - I know you were welcomed by open arms and familiar faces.
