Age 73, of Fox Chapel, formerly of Lawrenceville, on Saturday, March 21, 2026. Beloved daughter of the late Peter and Nellie (Wegrzynek) Lewkowicz; loving sister of Paula (the late C. Talbott Hiteshew) Laurenson Hiteshew, Robert (Doreen) Lewkowicz, Michael (Lynn) Lewkowicz and the late Thomas (Loretta) Lewkowicz; also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.
Denise was a loving caregiver for her parents and uncle. She was dedicated and excelled in her career as Director of Anesthesiology for Children's Hospital. She was compassionate and generous to everyone that she met.
Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, St. Augustine Church on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Padre Pio Food Pantry or to St. Padre Pio Parish at 225 37th Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201.
