Mademoiselle Reinecke was my first French teacher and I went on to become a French teacher myself. I am so grateful to Denise and for the memories. When I moved back to New Orleans after retirement she warmly welcomed me home and I joined her as a member of "Les Causeries du Lundi." It was always a delight to reconnect with my very first French teacher.

Ellen Tomskey and I were just wondering about Miss Reinecke last week. I always enjoyed her French classes. Along with Miss Mc Fetridge, who taught Latin, I always thought my language classes were so helpful, even after all these many years. Class if 67.
