Not sure what to say?

We were so blessed to have known your family and want you to know of our love for all of you at this difficult time. Your Dad was a wonderful Bishop and example to us, as was your Mom. I remember well when my Mother was killed I was talking to your Dad and told him I just didn't know how to pray. He gave me the best advice of my life when he told me to "pray for peace." I will never forget that conversation and now we are praying for peace for your family. Please know we love you all and...

I just learned of Dennis passing and was shocked and deeply saddened. Just recently, on Friday, March 13, Ruthanne and I visited our son and daughter-in-law, David and Katelyn, prior to our leaving town. Their neighbor and friend, Debbie Cusick was standing in their driveway with Dennis when we pulled up. We had the nicest visit with them. Dennis had gathered a truck load full of trimmed bushes and trees preparing Debbies yard for the Spring. He had his arm around Debbie and both had smiles...

We were blessed to know Dennis and Chris as awesome neighbors. Peace be in your hearts as you know they are together forever.

Dennis has been a valued friend since Jr High days. We reconnected again at BYU, as members of Samuel Hall Society and joint friends -Chris being one of them. Since he sold the cleaners, I had not seen him until running into him (with Debbie) at the High School State Tournament at the U of U about a month ago. Then, just a couple days before the accident, my wife and I ran into the two of them again at Mama Chus Restaurant. We had the opportunity to visit and catch up on our lives. It was so...

We were so sorry to hear about your dad. We were on our mission when your mom pasted so we didn't get to go to her funeral. All of you did a wonderful job. We just wanted you to know we love your family and feel fortunate to have known all of you. Love Dan & Kathy Brammer

To all of the family we express our love to you and your Mom and Dad for many great years in Cottonwood Heights--we have fond memories of many fun experiences with all of you. We express our sympathy and love to all of you. The funeral service was a great tribute to your Mom and Dad and your family. We love you!

I was made aware of Dennis passing and was able to watch the service. It was a beautiful tribute to a great man. I know you don't know me, but I am Dennis's first cousin. My father is Alan Baird, Fred's brother. I remember Dennis from growing up and visiting the farm in Payson. The Baird legacy is a great one, of which you are already aware. May God bless you on this time of sorrow.

I knew Dennis from the butler ward in Cottonwood Heights, he was a good friendly man and I really got to know him some because we were both training for the Deseret News 24th of July Marathon. On a cold morning on that day Dennis wife drove is up the canyon and let us off to join many others at the starting line. We both finished the marathon and congratulated each other. We most used to do some training running up big Cottonwood Canyon and we would see each other on either the way up or down...
