Passed away on May 10, 2021 at the age of 71. Loving husband of Christine (nee Cianciolo) Blankenburg. Proud father of John and David (Nikki) Blankenburg. Dear brother of Judy (Michael) Heffernan, Susan (Tom) Zacharias, Dean (Deb), and Donald Blankenburg; and brother-in-law of Linda Cianciolo. Preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Audrey (nee Guehrer) Blankenburg; his sister, Diane Wallace; and sister-in-law Edna Blankenburg.
Dennis was a Vietnam Veteran and served his community as a River Hills police officer for over 25 years.
A private celebration of Dennis’ life will be held at a later date. Memorials in his name may be made to the Wisconsin Humane Society, 630 W. Dekora St., Saukville, WI 53080.
