Dear Susie and family, I write this message in sadness and disbelief in the passing of Denny. Denny was my building principal at Herbert Hoover and later, my building substitute principal at Sara Lindemuth. I have many fond memories of Denny and our years working together in Susquehanna Township School District. His enthusiasm, sense of humor and outgoing manner always made one feel at ease and appreciated. He had a positive impact on so many lives, including mine. "His memory lives on...

So sorry for your lose. I got to work with Mr. Brehm when he stepped in to help at the Middle School. So many fun times in the office. A true gentleman and great boss. Alice Hihn

My sincere condolences on your loss. May you find comfort and peace in the coming years. As a 4th and 5th grader in the mid-80´s, Mr. Brehm was a wonderful principal, with a consistent smile and greeting in the hallway. His school announcements were unmatched and made you excited for the day or excited to come back the next. Blessings to you all.

Susie, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Our prayers and sympathy go out to you and your family. I always enjoyed when Denny came in to the Kunkel office. He was always so pleasant and made me laugh. I pray that all your treasured memories will help you through this sad and difficult time. Enjoy all those grandchildren! Love and prayers, Dolores Frye

Dear Suzie and family, I knew and loved Denny as my principal at Herbert Hoover. He hired me in 1989. We called him "Saint Denny" because he was so kind and caring towards everyone he met. He was a ray of sunshine in the hallways greeting people as they came into school. I am truly sorry to hear of his passing. There is no one else like him. A great man.
