I knew Dennis in high school and at Texas Tech. He was a good guy and developed into a good man and father. My condolences to the entire family.

I knew him! I liked him! He reminded me of a character that would have appeared in Animal House with John Belushi(sp?) - Bob Hoblit

Yvonne, my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. Dennis was a brilliant, compassionate prosecutor. We should all strive to perform our jobs as ethically as he did.

Dennis was was such a joy to have a conversation with...he could make you laugh and cry in the same story. He was very intelligent and then he would break into a hilarious story and you knew when you saw him you would enjoy the evening. He loved his family and never failed to mention his wife and children and he loved prosecuting "bad guys," He could also save a case with his ability to write the law. Both and Andrews and Ector Counties have lost a friend.
