Not sure what to say?

Dennis played cricket for Newbury, Hungerford and Berkshire. He starred during Newbury's heyday. He was a superb, accurate leg spin bowler, fine middle order batsman and brilliant fielder at short leg. Above all, however, he was the nicest and most unassuming of men imaginable. I am proud to have been a teammate of his at Newbury.

Dennis was such a lovely, gentle man with a beautiful soul and a twinkle in his eyes. I have such lovely memories of our cricket tours and all the fun we had. Thankyou Dennis for all those special memories. x

Dennis was a school, cricket and family friend of my late husband. Peter often talked about keeping wicket to his wily spin bowling. Den - now, you spin amongst the clouds and all your wickets are stars. RIP dear, kind man. Jill Cooke

I remember being bamboozled by Dennis as a young lad facing his bowling. My deepest sympathies. I wasnt a "batsman" mind! Kind Regards Philip Johnson (Michael Johnson's who worked for Dennis) son.
