DENNIS OXFORD CULVER

To the family of Dennis,
Often, I would by chance meet Dennis at MIAC, when I was preparing for a tour, or showing friends around exhibits. His warm, direct smile always lightened my day, and I had the opportunity to compliment him on his fine work in the exhibits. I was saddened to hear of his illness and death. Even though I cannot attend his memorial, I want all of you to know that he touched my life. I shall think of his smile.

Dear Nancy and Rainea...
Releived that Dennis is no longer struggling is the only good piece of his passing. Though I have not been in his presence for many years his clarity of vision, thought and passion is ever present.
How well I remember his joy of having you both in his life...his playful spirit filling your home on Rainbow road ( though that name didn't exist then)... His creativity flowing from his soul every minute of every day.
Of all people to pass before us, it...
