Not sure what to say?

I served in Infantry Officers School (OCS) at Ft Benning in 1965 with Dennis. He was one of the good guys. One of my all time favorite people and fellow soldiers.

Youre a hero

I knew Dennis only slightly through his sister and my friend, Sharon. I never knew about his courage in Vietnam until I read the obituary, which Sharon wrote. He was a good, valiant man, better than I realized. I hope his family will take comfort in knowing how many are in awe of his goodness and wish you all comfort at this time.

What a hero and what a legend left behind. So sorry for your loss.

Steve and I were privileged to have Dennis as our brother in law. We are so humbled to read of his heroic actions in Vietnam. He was a wonderful father and a loving husband to my sister Sherry. When we visited Sherry last we saw her complete love and devotion to Dennis as she made sure all his needs and wants were met. We send our love to our nephew Joe and his wife Lindsey and children and also to our niece Sorrel, John and children and also to our nephew Chuck. May God give you all peace...

Sherry and family,
I am so sorry for your loss.

Sherry and family, I knew Dennis many years ago. I saw him as an intelligent, mischievous, fun, and good person. I offer my condolences to you at this very sad time.
Most sincerely,
Jeri Lynn Boe

I was with Dennis in Vietnam. He was my platoon leader. I was with him when he earned the Silver Star in the battle on November 17, 1967.

We remember Dennis and his family as our good neighbors for many years. Please know Sherry that at this difficult time our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
