Dennis Delmar Doblar

Dr. Doblar was an attending of mine at UAB. As a fellow "former engineer," I felt a special bond with him, and I truly appreciated his intelligence and dry wit. Sorry to hear of his passing, he taught and inspired so many.

Dennis was "my" Quarters at MHHS. He always had a smile and a positive attitude. We even reminisced about it on Facebook a few years ago. A good man and he is missed.

A sharp intelect,highly educated , a wicked sense of humor, strong ethics . A good man. This was Dennis. Rest in peace

Dr .Doblar was my Doctor for several years and was a credit to the profession . When my wife passed away and I was upset and crying he came and sat with me and cried with me .And I gained much respect for him .I pray that God will give his family peace in this troubling time.

We were colleagues at UAB. With his personality, sharp mind, and sense of humor, Dennis made our tough days working in a highly intense environment pass with a great sense of enjoyment. We shared many thoughts, scientific discourses, opinions, intrigue and, yes...laughs! Dennis, you´re unique in so many ways, and you´re missed!

I enjoyed my time with Dr Doblar when I was a resident. Very smart energetic man who I thought was crazy at first. Rest easy Dr Doblar Travis Slade

Please know that he made a positive difference in this world even while enduring his disease. Not a day goes by that I don´t think of Dennis and Christie when dealing with difficult situations as a caregiver to my spouse. I am so thankful. Indeed, life is too short and what a blessing y´all have been to many. Hugs and love to all.
