I so fondly remember him and his great sense of humor. Its been 35 years since I attended Holy Cross and even today recalled to my fiancé a time when he dressed in the dark so as not to wake Mrs. Dranchak and he arrived with two different colored wing tips in class. I still remember him as I teach trig to students today. God bless and keep him and loved ones!

My condolences to the Dranchak family. I went through HCHS with his brother Vince and also had the wonderful opportunity to see how good and innovative a teacher he was. He was a good man and will be missed.
Although it is a sad time, a story I remember fondly about him was when he taught Senior Economics and after a week it appeared that 90% of the class was going to have a hard time with the concepts, so he told 4 of us (who were acting up a bit, as we were bored) to go clean...

Dear Dranchak Family:
I went to H.C. with Dennis! I was saddened when I read the paper and saw he had passed? I'm so very very sorry for your loss and for the void at Holy Cross as well. He will be missed by many; especially his wife and children. I also recently lost my husband; its a very difficult time. Our faith teaches us that God will always be with us and that Dennis is gone home to be with the Lord. We can only wonder just how happy and peaceful he is! My sincere sympathy...

Dear Dranchak Family,
We met Dennis when our son was a freshman at Holy Cross in 2002. I will never forget the first Back-to-School night. Mr. Dranchak was a true "Math Guy", pocket protector & all! I have had the privilege of working with Dennis at Holy Cross for the last 6 years. He always had a smile on his face and was always 'upbeat'. We will miss him.
Sincerely,
Theresa & John Snyder
