TRAVERSE CITY — Dennis Michael Egeler, 41, of Traverse City, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007.

Dennis was born on May 25, 1966, the son of Ronald and Nancy (Belanger) Egeler. When he was a young man, Dennis met and married Michelle (Otto) Egeler and together raised two children, Brandan and Holly Egeler.

Dennis graduated with honors from a heating and cooling trade school and was employed by Northern Air Systems. During his career, he was also employed by Ginop Sales and Midwest Tractor. Recently, he was a self-employed engine mechanic.

Dennis loved animals, especially Scooby, Bear, and Jasmine. He enjoyed being outdoors, traveling, hunting, camping with family, and fishing.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Michelle Egeler; children, Brandan and Holly Egeler; parents, Ronald and Nancy Egeler; brothers, Steve and David (Tonya) Egeler; sisters, Cathryn (Jeff) Davidson and Sally (Michael) Winchester; parents-in-law, James and Pat Otto; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, at the Traverse City Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution to "Memorial for Dennis Egeler at Members Credit Union."

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Traverse City Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes.
