Dennis Farrell

I was a classmate of Dennis in the Correction Academy and we were good friends. We were in the same squad and worked many tours together. Correction remembers Dennis as a great friend, classmate and human. I send my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and fellow NYFD heroes. Dennis will be remembered by myself as my partner in Correction and as a dear friend, Rest in peace my friend until we meet again.

Going back into the 80s I had the privilege to work with Dennis as NYC Correction Officers at the Correctional Institution for Men (CIFM) aka C-76. Dennis was a ball of energy and always completed his tasks as soon as possible! I fondly remember him always saying he wanted to be Firefighter in the FDNY and he achieved his dream to be appointed to the FDNY. Dennis and I were co-workers, NYC Correction Officers together. Dennis was always full of energy and had an unique sense of humor. I´m blessed to have work with and had a friendship with Dennis. God Bless you Dennis and Rest In Peace my brother.

Our prayers are with you my dear cousin Dennis. Our families have always been touched by your actions and willingness to do more. It´s your bravery that sets you aside and has earned you the highest praise by everyone. God Bless you. God Bless Lori, their children and our extended family.
